At 11 Sports & Social Club, we believe great pickleball happens in a positive environment. Everyone is expected to help uphold a culture of Fairness, Inclusivity, Fun and Respect.
This Code of Conduct details the expected standards of behaviour for all members and guests.
It’s based on our Membership Terms & Code of Conduct and is designed to keep the Club safe, welcoming, and fun for everyone. Failure to follow these expectations may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of membership without refund.
On‑court behaviour
DO:
Treat all players, staff, and spectators with courtesy and respect.
Play with good sportsmanship—win or lose
Follow posted signage, safety rules, and staff instructions at all times.
Respect court rotations, time limits, and booking rules.
Use appropriate pickleball etiquette (line calls, serving order, paddle taps, etc.)
Wear clean, non‑marking indoor court shoes and proper athletic attire.
Keep the facility clean by disposing of trash properly.
DON’T:
Disrupt play, monopolize courts, or ignore rotation systems.
Engage in harassment, discrimination, or intimidating behaviour of any kind.
Use profanity, aggressive yelling, or argue on or off the courts.
It’s okay to be excited and want to win, just be cool.
Wear snow covered boots or shoes onto the courts.
Bring food onto the courts.
Water, juice and sports drinks in closed containers are permitted.
Smoke‑free policy
11 Sports & Social Club fully complies with the Smoke‑Free Ontario Act.
Smoking, vaping, or use of tobacco, cannabis, or similar products is strictly prohibited within 9 metres of any building entrance, emergency exit, or loading/docking door.
This policy applies to all members, guests, and staff, at all times – including events, tournaments, and social nights.
ENFORCEMENT:
First violation: verbal warning and/or written warning.
Repeat violations: Immediate ban from the premises and possible membership revocation without refund.
The Club may report repeated violations to local by‑law or health authorities if required.
Scent‑free policy
11 Sports & Social Club is a scent and odour-free facility.
To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all:
Please arrive free of strong fragrances or odours.
Do not wear perfumes, colognes, scented lotions, sprays, or other fragranced personal products inside the building.
ENFORCEMENT:
First violation: verbal warning and/or written warning.
You may be asked to leave and return fragrance or odour‑free.
Repeat violations: Immediate ban from the premises and possible membership revocation without refund
Driving & parking on Club property
We ask all members and guests to be respectful not just inside the Club – but outside on as well.
The Club has a zero tolerance for driving and parking behaviour that compromises safety, obstructs access, or shows disregard for others.
DRIVING RULES:
Drive safely and responsibly at all times.
Please be courteous, calm, and patient while driving on Club property.
Follow posted signage, speed limits, and pedestrian right‑of‑way.
Avoid aggressive, erratic, or unsafe driving behaviours.
Take your time and be mindful of others arriving, departing, or walking through the area.
If you need assistance finding a parking spot, please speak to our staff. We’ll be happy to help.
PARKING RULES:
Each parking space is intended for one vehicle. Park within one designated parking space only.
Accessible parking spaces may only be used by vehicles displaying a valid accessibility permit.
Do not park across multiple spaces or block access lanes, entrances, exits, fire routes, or other vehicles.
Driving a large vehicle? Our staff is happy to help you find appropriate parking – just ask.
No parking along the side of the building or in front of the loading dock
