Our Coaches

Mike Horne

Mike is a Level 1 pickleball coach and brings more than a decade of pickleball experience — and a whole lot of heart — to the courts at 11 Sports & Social Club. He first discovered the sport in British Columbia and, after moving here in 2017, quickly deepened his love for the game through training and competitive play.

Over the past several years, Mike has taught hundreds of players locally, building not just skills, but lasting friendships along the way. His coaching style is encouraging, practical, and rooted in helping players feel confident and comfortable on the court. For Mike, it’s not just about improving your game — it’s about enjoying every rally and being part of a great community.

Jane Auclair

Jane holds a four-year Honours degree in Physical and Health Education from University of Toronto and worked as a lifeguard and personal trainer throughout high school and university, and fitness testing/training with the Toronto Police Service.

After retiring and moving to Orillia, Jane discovered pickleball through a school program and quickly became passionate about the sport. Over the past eight years, she has competed in tournaments locally and in Texas, while also teaching beginner pickleball during winters in Texas.

Yunus Mohamed

Yunus is a Level 2 pickleball coach who combines technical knowledge with a calm, focused teaching style. Passionate about both playing and coaching, Yunus emphasizes strong fundamentals, smart strategy, and efficient skill development that translates directly into better on-court performance.

His approach is clear, structured, and supportive — helping players build confidence while sharpening their competitive edge. For Yunus, the most rewarding part of coaching is watching students grow, improve, and truly elevate their game.

Anita Ealey

Anita is a Level 1 pickleball coach who fell in love with the game and now gets to share that passion with others. She plays in a ladies league with Taylor Pickleball, which has been an incredible part of her journey and growth in the sport.

Anita believes learning should be fun, relaxed, and empowering, and she is passionate about helping players feel confident and enjoy every moment on the court.

Eric Ong

Eric is a Level 1 pickleball coach and loves teaching players of all skill levels and enjoys both indoor and outdoor play. He is committed to helping others improve their game while continuing to grow as a player himself.

Eric is also looking forward to competing in more tournaments and continuing to develop as both a player and coach.
